How much does a boiler service cost?
A standard boiler service is £90, and a major service, with a full strip-down and deep clean of the boiler components, is £150. Both cover the safety checks, cleaning and efficiency testing your boiler needs each year. The full list is on our pricing page.
Does an annual service keep my boiler warranty valid?
Most manufacturers ask for a service every year by a Gas Safe registered engineer to keep the warranty valid, so skipping one can leave you paying for a repair the warranty would have covered. A yearly service also helps reduce breakdowns, because small faults are caught before they turn into big ones.
What does a boiler repair cost?
Repairs are charged by the hour: £90+VAT on weekdays from 8am to 5pm, £150+VAT on weekday evenings, overnight, at weekends and on bank holidays, and £250+VAT on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. We'll tell you the price before we start.
Do you offer 24/7 emergency boiler repairs?
Yes. We take emergency callouts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and carry out same-day repairs across Bournemouth and Poole. If your boiler has broken down, call us on 07900 930999 — it is faster than the form.
Which boilers do you install?
We are a Viessmann Trained Installer, so we can fit and warranty Viessmann boilers, with up to a 10-year manufacturer guarantee on the ones we install. We don't fit one brand only: where another boiler, such as a Worcester Bosch, suits your home better, we'll tell you.
How much does a new Viessmann boiler cost?
Our Viessmann installations start from £2,350 for the Vitodens 050-W and 100-W, from £3,000 for the Vitodens 200-W and from £3,500 for the Vitodens 111-W. The final price depends on your home and any pipework changes, and you get a fixed quote before any work starts. See our boiler installation page for more.
How much is a landlord gas safety certificate?
A landlord gas safety check is £70, with the certificate provided on completion. If you also want the boiler serviced, a combined gas safety inspection, certificate and service is £120. Landlords need a new certificate every 12 months — more on our gas engineering page.
Which areas do you cover, and do you charge a call-out fee?
We cover Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch, Wimborne, Ferndown and the wider Dorset area from our workshop in Poole. There is no call-out fee. Jobs within 5 miles carry no travel charge; beyond that, travel is charged at our standard hourly rate.
