At Senior Heating Services, we aim to make heating services simple, transparent and affordable. We provide clear upfront costs for all work carried out across Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch and the wider Dorset area. Whether you need a one-off boiler service, a landlord gas safety certificate, a system power flush, or a full boiler installation, our pricing is straightforward so you know exactly what to expect.

Travel
For all jobs within a 5-mile radius, no travel charge applies. For any journey beyond 5 miles, a travel charge is applied at our standard hourly rate, covering fuel, vehicle wear, and driving time.
All journeys are logged and timed from the moment the job begins. Journey records can be requested within 7 days of the job start date – after this period, camera data is automatically wiped and records cannot be recovered.
Payment Terms
We keep our payment terms simple and fair for all customers.
- For any job where materials exceed £1,500, a 50% deposit is required before work begins.
- Domestic customers are required to pay for labour on completion of the job.
- Contractors and trade accounts are invoiced with a 30-day payment term.

Major Boiler Service

Power Flushing
Our professional power cleaning service removes built-up sludge, scale, and debris from your heating system, improving efficiency and extending the life of your boiler and radiators. All prices include chemicals and full system cleaning using specialist equipment and chemicals, balancing of radiators, and checks to ensure improved circulation. Power flushing is particularly effective for households experiencing cold spots, noisy pipes or frequent boiler faults.

Magnetic Filter Supply & Fit
A magnetic filter helps keep your system clean long-term by capturing metallic debris before it causes damage.
Boiler Descaling
Our chemical descaling service removes limescale build-up from inside your boiler, restoring efficiency and preventing long-term damage.
- From £250+VAT – based on a 2-hour treatment
- The process uses a specialist chemical solution. Pink indicates descaling is still in progress; once the solution turns amber, the boiler is confirmed scale-free
- Once complete, the boiler goes through a neutralising stage to remove all chemical residue
- Chemicals: £33+VAT
- Each additional hour beyond 2 hours: £60+VAT (this covers machine hire and on-site time)

Jet Washing - Pumping Stations & Commercial
We operate a fuel-powered jet wash machine running at 5,800 PSI, designed to break down heavy foul and scale build-up. This service is primarily used for pumping stations and commercial applications.
- Machine hire: £25+VAT per hour (fuel charged separately at £7.50+VAT)
- Operative (1 person): £90+VAT for the first hour, then £60+VAT per hour thereafter
- Additional operative (e.g. apprentice carrying out manual labour such as cleaning, scrubbing, moving hoses or directing the public): £10+VAT per hour
- Chemicals: priced on application, depending on job requirements

Water & Expansion Tanks
We install and replace a wide range of tanks to ensure your heating and plumbing systems run safely and efficiently.
Feed Expansion Tanks
• Installation includes Honeywell or Drayton valves, Grundfos UPS heating pumps, and expansion vessels
• Helps regulate system pressure and prevent damage to pipework
Cold Water Tanks
• Professionally fitted with robust frameworks for stability
• Supplied with snap-on lids, float valves and Byelaw 30 kits for protection
• Suitable for loft spaces with limited access

As Viessmann-approved installers, we provide some of the most reliable and efficient boilers available. All installations are carried out by our Gas Safe engineers and include 10+ years warranty on heat exchangers.
